We plan the day so nothing is loaded or delivered on Shabbat or Yom Tov. Tell us the dates to avoid when you book and we work around them.

Friday moves

• Start early so the van is unloaded well before Shabbat.
• In winter Shabbat comes in mid-afternoon in London, so Friday moves need an early start or a smaller load.
• Unpack the kitchen essentials, beds and Shabbat candlesticks first.
• If the move is big, consider splitting it across Thursday and Friday.

Around the chagim

Weeks around Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot and Pesach fill up quickly, and many families want to be settled before a chag begins. Book early and tell us the deadline you are working to.

Mezuzot

Mezuzot belong to you. Take them down or leave them up as you and your rabbi decide; the crew does not remove them. Many families put up mezuzot in the new home on moving day.
